"Lumberjacks are a unique group of people going out into the world and making exciting things happen!"

Nancy's life since graduation has been spent helping to build a bright future for the students of NAU. Besides being a tireless advocate for NAU, serving as the Alumni Association Board President, a Foundation Board member and with the President's Valley Board of Advisors, Nancy has also devoted countless hours volunteering for a multitude of University events, including Homecoming and commencement. Since 2006, Nancy has served NAU as the development director for the College of Education, and more recently also represents the College of Health and Human Services as well as the Blavin Scholars Program.

Among the many things Nancy has done to support NAU, she named the NAU Foundation as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Nancy became a proud member of the Heritage Society by including NAU in her estate plans because she believes in the future of NAU as a unique opportunity to help shape the world.

"I come in contact with so many alumni and students whose lives were changed by attending NAU, and I wanted to do what I could to make sure that experience will always be available."
